TheMXR Fod Drive offers the sounds of two amplifier stacks in a single pedal. Professionals have been combining amplifiers on stage and studio for years, stirring their sounds to find new sonorities. Thanks to the award-winning engineering team of MXR, you can recreate that experience directly in your pedals.
The team MXR He put his hands on a pair of legendary amplifiers for heavily customized guitar and disassembled them for careful analysis. One of the amplifiers changed to obtain a high saturation excavated on the middle school, while the other to obtain an incisive and medical crunch. The result was a gritty sound, so incredible that the team has decided to make it available to musicians around the world.
The circuits of the two amplifiers, the engineers meticulously replicating the circuits MXR They created a single pedal with two separate channels: a high gain channel and a crunch channel Gain. Each channel has its own Gain and Volume controls, allowing you to maximize the two sounds. The Blend control allows you to mix the two signals, just like having two separate amplifiers in a mixer. The Tone knob sets the EQ for the overall output signal, and the Scoop switch allows you to cut or push the middle frequencies, or leave a flat profile.
TheMXR Fod Drive can be powered by a 9V battery or, alternatively, from a power supply like the ECB003 Dunlop, the DC Brick or MINI ISO-Brick (not included).
