Device for signal distribution

RADIAL presents Shotgun

SHOTGUN is a device for distributing guitar signal to amplifiers capable of supporting up to four amplifiers simultaneously without introducing buzzers and noises generally caused by mass loops.

Explains Ryan Juchnowski, specialist in the Tech Radial Department: "Radial has always been known as a company based on the search for sound problems solutions. A few months ago we had the opportunity to meet stage technicians who manage guitars e Colin James and Joe Bonamassa equipment. Colin's set-up is wired in mono, while Joe is stereo ... both managed on stage smaller amplifiers that inevitably generated a tremendous noise due to mass loops. Both have had serious problems in maintaining the integrity of the guitar signal with the concert settings. We thought it would be nice to provide a single solution able to manage their needs. The result of this effort is Shotgun".

Designed for HI instrumental signals-Z, Shotgun can be configured for mono use with an input that handles four outputs or stereo with two inputs that manage two pairs of outputs. Each output is buffered individually to lower the impedance and reduce the noise propensity. This also allows you to manage the signal at remarkable distances while running on the larger stages. Output-1 It is the default output that provides a grounded route safely for the guitar while the outputs 2, 3 and 4 are isolated to eliminate the unpleasant buzzing of mass loops almost always present when using more stage amplifiers. In addition, integrated individual switches are also present for the Ground-Lift. When used as dual or 1 X 2 Splitter, the innovative Constant Load Correction (CLC ™) circuit intervenes to ensure the guitar impedance that allows the stamp to remain consistent.
Compact and robust, made for use "ON-the-Road ", Shotgun works with a standard 9V power supply (not included) or through the connection to the power brick of a pedal board. The 180 ° polarity reversal switches mounted on the upper panel guarantee all the amplifiers to sound in phase.
