HX 50 the amplifier PRS series Hx Designed for guitarists looking for the iconic Jimi Hendrix stamp. The amp, with inside the circuit PRS "Hendrix", provides 50 watts of power managed by valves El34 and has two separate channels with Gain controls, Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, Mid Gain, Bright 1 and 2.PRS HX 50 Captures the flexibility, power and balance of the British inspiration stamp at the end of the 1960s. A continuation of the popular HXDA amplifiers of PRS, the amplifiers PRS HX have a refined control layout and a recently documented "Authentic Hendrix" circuit. This circuit strongly inspired by one of the personal Hendrix amplifiers, presumably used in Woodstock, which Paul Reed Smith and the amplifier designer PRS Doug Sewell could study in 2018. Designed to push the high-End with brilliance, without being harsh, PRS HX gives guitarist a unique dynamic, passing by high gain sounds to sweet and soft stamps.
PRS HX 50 powered by two EL34EH power valves, the best preamplification valves available and has a custom-made Straight Edge output transformer. The HX 50 has the 100W power supply, which makes it much closer to 100W amplifier than a normal 50W amplifier. Feeding and filament design make HX 50 incredibly silent with little or no "buzz or hiss".
