Optima is specialized in the creation of strings for arched instruments for more than 200 years. The PROTOS series consists of violin ropes, violet, cello and steel double bass wrapped with a flat nickel multifilament. These strings are ideal for both students and artists. The famous violinist Roby Lekatos is a great fan and user of this series. These flat ropes have a very smooth surface for facilitated execution and a quick response. Thanks to their particular construction, they produce a brilliant and soft sound. If accorded correctly inside the set, these strings have approximately the same voltage of that produced in a gut or nylon.
