Proper vintage reproduction of the 1946 Single Coil Gibson with all the granulosity, the brilliance and bloody growl that make the P90 vintage pickups so special. The double magnets in Alnico with 5 bars and the short and large coils give the P90 its unique tonal character with a powerful average range and a higher output compared to most other types of single coils. In the position of the handle, this pickup sounds sweet and smooth and provide chords from a big and fat sound. In the position of the bridge, this pickup has sparkling mediums that give it an open and gritty tone. The agreements have a beautiful harmonic flowering and the individual notes are vitre and in the foreground. Both the handle pickups and the bridge are immediate replacements for any traditional SOAPBAR P90 Gibson. Our Vintage P90s are wrapped with simple enamel thread, and we add extra mojo by wrapping them on the same LEESON winder used in the 1950s in the old Gibson factory. Including connection cable to a vintage braided conductor, stored in wax for stride without performance.
