The choice of wand is fundamental. At the discretion of the drummer it is the choice of the model, as it is bound to the musical genre that is performed and the individual setting. The chopsticks forming the pair must have these features: be straight, have the same sound and the same weight. Each wand has its precise resonance frequency which is determined by the density and wood fibers. E'Important that each pair has the same acoustic response: this can occur by embossing both chopsticks, with the same hand and on a rigid plane, to perceive its sound frequency. The weight correspondence must be verified. Finally, to make sure that the chopsticks are straight, you have to rotate on a flat and smooth surface.
