Comp-3a a compressor / limiter from vintage soundproof. The path of the signal made with discrete components (resistance, capacitors, diodes, transistors) and separate transformers optimized for input and output stages. The use of discreet components allows you to reproduce the searched sonorities of the past - Most music, which cannot be obtained with current technologies. The COMP circuit-3a is inspired by the famous electro compressors-"Program Depending" optics of the past, in which the attenuation was controlled by an electrolyuminescent panel and a photoelectric cell. Compression control essentially based on Gain and Peak Reduction parameters allows you to get the desired sound easily. Comp-3a Includes a high-pass filter adjustable for better control via Sidechain, a link connector that allows you to connect two units for stereo operations with balance adjustment, and gain of the adjustable output stage. The limit switch varies the compression curve to use Comp-3rd as a limiter. The analog meter allows you to view both the output level and reducing the gain given by compression.
