Golden Age Project presents Pre-73 MKII
Pre-73 MKIII A convenient high quality preamplifier to a channel, built exclusively with discreet components and equipped with two independent transformers for entry and exit. Equipped with a circuit very similar to the preamplification section of the famous pres / EQ snow 1073, pre-73 Mkiii can reproduce the hot vintage sounds, very sought after today, which make it records of voices and tools extremely pleasant to listen. Pre-73 MKIII Perfect for any sound source, no matter is a microphone, a synthesizer, a guitar or an electric bass. This preamplifier offers an 80dB gain on the microphone and 30dB input on the line and high-impedance input for instruments. The impedance of the adjustable microphone input at 300 or 1200ohm, making pre-73 MKIII perfectly matched with most microphones. There are also two phase inversion buttons and phantom power supply, and a LED level indicator. The output level control allows precise gain adjustment, with the possibility to load the main amplification stage to give greater character to the sound without causing signal distortions. Compared to the previous version, pre-73 MKIII includes two selectable high-pass filters (40Hz and 170Hz), the Air Mode switch that adds a 3DB or 6DB Boost to 3KHz, and the preparation for the assembly of a transformer Carnhill.
