Radialfirefly ™ is a high-performance valve direct box designed for live and study. It combines the award-winning Front End RADIAL in class A at a negative zero feedback with the heat and character of a 12AX7 valve and the legendary radial transformer with coupled output.

Firefly presents two inputs A and B for tools with easy access level controls to speed up adjustments from stage: the artist can choose between two different tools and provide a signal consistent to the PA system and stage. You can choose the inputs from the front panel or with the remote control JR2, which connects to firefly via balanced cable and also adds a mute function to make silent adjustments.

To optimize performance with the electric bass, Firefly is equipped with Drag Control ™ load correction that allows you to adjust the load of a magnetic pickup, so that the instrument has the same "feel" when it is connected to a valve amplifier. For the most "demanding" piezoelectric transducers, Drag control can be excluded to increase the 4 mega input impedance-Ohm and eliminate those gracing sounds and those peaks that afflict this type of pickup. You can activate a pass filter-High variable to eliminate low-frequency resonance that causes feedback on stage or dirty sound during recording.

The rear panel has two ¼ "A & B inputs for the instruments and a THRU output for the stage amplifier. The Thru offers a choice of pre or post valve configuration. Furthermore a TRS Insert socket allows you to connect external effects that will be shared between the two Inputs. You can use a" Always On "buffered tuner output to divide the instrument to the studio or to connect an electronic tuner. The Tuner output can be used for the" Silent Tuning "whether to have the control connected to the control JR2. The balanced XLR output is equipped with a Ground Lift switch to eliminate bruses and noises caused by 180 ° mass loops and polarity inversion to eliminate stage feedback or to align the system phase PA with the stage amplifier.
