The Sonic Orb represents the maximum effort to cover a wide variety of 'Phase Sounds' while maintaining that simplicity in the controls required by musicians, usually difficult to reach given the complexity of the analog circuit used. The technical characteristics that make the Sonic ORB an absolutely unique phaser first, first of all the Q control, which defines the range of frequencies on which the pedal will act. At one end of the setting the pedal acts on low frequency, creating a smooth and hot phase effect. As the Q value grows, the pedal focuses on increasingly higher frequencies, creating more sharp and rang effects. E In the middle there is all a world of sounds that belongs only to Sonic Orb to which the guitarist can draw without limits of sorts. Not only: control Q can be used to optimize the pedal when used with a bass or a keyboard. Another feature in which the Sonic Orb excels is its ability to get out of the mix, a critical point of many other phaser that mortify their beautiful stamp disappearing for example during a live execution. To avoid this, Sonic Orb is equipped with an op section-Amp acting as a signal internal boost, adjustable by volume control: in this way the effect will always be present and will not drown in the mix.
