There were not many surprises at the NAMM 2022, but one of the really interesting keyboards to show the new Kurzweil SP7 Grand 88-Key Stage Piano. The SP7 Grand a sort of starting point for Kurzweil as it does not use their appreciated system V.A.S.T. Instead, there is the new engine A.T.S.T (Authentic Timbre Synthesis Technology) that will certainly appear in many future Kurzweil keyboards. Built around the personalized semiconductor, A.T.S.T. It has high-fidelt audio, simplified sound programming and boasts almost seamless speed levels transitions. Powered by 9-inch German-tailed piano samples present in Kurzweil's tip K2700 workstation, Sp7 Grand A.T.S.T. It provides significant improvements in realism through higher resolution audio support, fluid speed transitions and a 2x overrunction filter. The SP7 offers the TP100LRG mechanics of Kurzweil, equipped with the most recent Fatar technology, the world's leading manufacturer of piano keyboards. The ideally balanced action for sensitivity and playability, at the service of a variety of styles. Assocating these technologies to a color touch display, Multi mode-16-zone controller and more. |
