NOVATION presents Mininova
Mininova's synthesis engine has been developed by the Synth legend-Design Chris Hupgett, who had already made some milestones like Bass Station, Supernova, Nova and Ultranova. Mininova was created by having the synthesis engine of Ultranova as a rich starting point, tip product. Having three oscillators, two filters, six envelopes, three LFOs and 36 different Wavetable, mininova can create a wide range of great impact sounds, suitable for any kind and musical style. Among the main new features there are Vocaltune, an extraordinary effect able to vary the intonation of the voice adapting it to the note played on the synth in real time. It also has a powerful vocoder, which can be used via the included microphone or through an external signal. Another large novelty consisting of the "animated" buttons to apply up to eight extremely expressive modulations and a HOLD button to close one or more modulations / animations. The "Arpeggiate" mode allows you to play and program the rhythm parts with extreme simplicity and make variations 'on the fly'. Finally, the connection to the computer via USB allows a simple patch library management via a special plug-In free software.
