Guild has chosen a solid Sitka spruce top and a flamed maple arched background used for centuries in the construction of double basses, to give a low and unthinkable sound for such a small format. Background, bands and handles are finished with an antique satin blonde finish, which gives depth and unique character to the motifs of wood. The low and deep jumbo junior sound can be amplified or recorded using the active pickup for low fèhman specially designed for guild, with volume and tone controls. Other important features are keyboard and bridge in ebony, headboard and saddle in bone, mother-of-pearl rosette and guild logo on the scoop
