Originally called Custom Custom Custom, the high-performance Humbucker Customer 5-return pickup as a response to musicians who requested a Popular Custom Humbkker and Alnico 5 version. It has a nice full tone, a dug average range and with a good balance of bass and high. This uniform response makes it extremely versatile and great for all types of music. Match the Custom 5 with the Humbuckers Model 59 or Jazz to the handle for a perfectly balanced configuration. Hand built in Santa Barbara, California, the Custom 5 uses a 5-bar magnet in Alnico, a lower nickel-plated silver plate, a 4-wire cable for more wiring options and vacuum waxed for performance without creaking. Available both with standard Humbucker spacing or Trembucker for 6 ropes, and in a 7-string configuration with passive mounting.
