Alpha omega ultra the preamplifier for bass bass that Darkglass has ever designed: with its two distinct distortion circuits (Alpha and omega), extremely high dynamic range, active graphical equalizer to Six bands, dedicated headphone output and balanced direct output with digital emulation of the selectable impulse response is an incredibly complete tool for modern bass player.

  • Blend: Mix the clean and processed signals
  • Level: Set the volume of the overdrive signal
  • Drive: Set the amount of gain in the overdrive signal
  • Bite: Increase medium frequencies (2,8kz) for additional presence and definition
  • Growl: Shelving Bass Boost for a more fat sound and greater saturation of the bass
  • MoD: Select or mix the two distinct distortion circuits. Alpha incisive, tight with a lot of definition, while omega simply brutal and raw
  • Master: Whereas the Level knob controls the output of the OverDrive section, Master regulates the general volume of the unit
  • Bass: Low Shelf + /-12db at 80hz
  • Mid Band: + /-10db at 250 Hz, 500Hz, 1, 5 Hz, 3KHz
  • Treble: High Shelf + /-12db at 5khz
  • Ground Lift: Disconnect the signal mass on the direct output to interrupt any mass loops
  • Cab SIM: Activate / deactivate the simulation of the cabinet on the direct output
  • Headphones: Alpha omega ultra has a stereo headphone amplifier capable of piloting a minimum load of 16 ohms from the 3.5mm stereo jack
