EVENTIDE presents Euroddl
A digital delay with an analogue soul for Eurorack
Designed for performance, Euroddl offers external control of each feature and function. It was also designed to play less digital than the average delay. Eventide's old school design strictly limits the amount of digital circuits only to what is necessary for delay. The soft saturation, the low pass filter, feedback, the insert loop and the +20 dB boost are all analog. Once listened, you will understand why this is the definitive and musical Eurorack delay. To be a real power tool, all the controls of the Eurorack module must be remotely controlled. The Euroddl does this with Jacks to accept control voltages and triggers. It is designed to be played as a tool. And it is designed to "play well" in the Rack with Return / Send and Clock in / Clock Out.
Built on history by creators
This Eurorack delay is well imbued with history. His ancestors date back to 1971, when we created the first line of digital delay 1745 in the world. At the time, everything in the audio was analog except the delay, which is why our original delay line was used to synchronize audio feeds to the speakers' towers to the legendary Watkins Glen concert of 1973. Now that story has been updated to give life to your Eurorack. It is the perfect companion for synthesis and any other tool.
