The Darbuka Meinl Percussion are made according to the tradition of the original esoteric glass-shaped drums that are found in the music of eastern Europe, the Middle East and South Asia. The Darbuka Meinl are built with thin drums in various metals, each of which gives the different models their special stamp. The skin is fixed and granted with external rings placed near the stem, in Turkish style. Light but powerful, Darbuka have deep and full bass. They are suitable for acute sounds and a wide range of "Doum" and "Tak" articulated shots.
