The YDP models-S55 are all equipped with a piano sound sampled from the CFX concert piano, a flavored model of Yamaha, a renowned piano that offers highly different and low-fictient bass and resonant sounds in a superbly expressive sound.
The ydp-S55 has the same detailed sound, from the lowest keys to the highest ones, full of clarity and rich in colorful harmonic content. It gives you an extraordinary expressive power and nuances, which authentically respond to your daily studio as well as your performances full of emotions.
The ydp-S55 also has 353 incorporated tracks, including 50 famous classic tracks and 303 full exercises of famous methods, such as Beyer, Burgmüller, Czerny and Hanon. The instrument is also compatible with the free app Pianist of Yamaha: simply download the app on the Smart device and connect it to the instrument.
With the Smart Pianist app you can easily set the various VOICE functions of the instrument and use it to recall the scores of the embedded tracks. It also has a complete room flat feature to change the tonal quality and the resonance settings of the piano sound.
The ydp-S55 uses a new technology that optimizes the sound balancing based on the set volume, offering you an exceptionally natural sound easy to listen to and delicate ears, even when you play a long time.
It also has the stereophonic Optimizer effect that allows you to enjoy the natural and spacious sound you feel sitting in front of an acoustic-tailed piano, even when wearing headphones.
The piano cabinet has a thin depth that allows you to install it neatly in any room and creates a chic and elegant design that improves your living space. Furthermore, the locking of the keyboard cover gives the instrument a discreet appearance.
