The new RHIII mechanics recreates the exceptional touch of a grand piano, with its realistic movement and a dynamic design provides unparalleled sound experience. The triple sensor detection system improves reactivity and accuracy, while structural reinforcements have been assembled to minimize noise and the tank during the steps of detached and very strong. In addition to gradually weighed hammers, the RHIII mechanics also has counterweights positioned in each key. Just as in an acoustic piano, these carefully balanced weights help to lighten the touch of the keyboard during the Pianissimo passages and to add a feeling of greater substance when it sounds strongly. The triple sensor improves the response when the same key is pressed repeatedly, and allows you to gradually overlap the sound of a single note without the previous one to be lost. Furthermore, Kawai mechanics technology controls the speed with which the key is released. These unique particularities influence the release character of piano sound, offering a more wide range of details between detached and linked. RH II and Grand Feel mechanics detect the movement of the key with three sensors instead of two, as it happened in the previous systems. The third sensor increases the accuracy of the rebatten notes, because it allows to superimpose the sound of the note that is ending with that of the next one.
