The legendary digital mixer of Allen & Heath returns to a completely new version, enhanced by a 96kHz XCVI core that enables DEEP Processing features, with an increased number of channels, totally flexible patching on four customizable layers, a redesigned user interface, important hardware improvements, extended connectivity and Dante integration option. The new Qu preserves the aesthetics and form factor that have made the original series iconic, but introduces a series of innovations that significantly improve sound performance and mixing experience. Audio quality is guaranteed by up-to-date microphone preamps and high-performance AD/DA converters at 96kHz, working in perfect synergy with the XCVI core to return a crystalline sound, preserving every detail of the source. Each channel now has a dedicated display showing name, channel type or input number, accompanied by a colour level indicator for immediate reading. The touchscreen has been completely redesigned to offer a smooth, fast and intuitive interaction. The version Qu-5D includes a 16 × 16 to 96khz or 48khz dante interface, perfect for integration into complex installations or large-scale systems. The entire Q series is equipped with extremely versatile recording and reproduction options, including a USB audio interface-C 32 × 32 integrated, support for multitrack recording on SD card and simple stereo recording via USB port-A, offering total flexibility in any operational context. Remaining faithful to the philosophy "Walk up and mix" which has decreed the success of the first generation, the new qu further improves the simplicity of use thanks to four fully configurable layers, assignable softkeys to optimize workflows and options of Flexible routing that are flanked by the classic scheme 1:1 of the original series, all managed by a modern and reactive user interface. Through the SLINK port, Q can connect to the Everything I / O family of stage box and expansion racks, allowing a modular and customizable configuration, and can be interfaced directly with other Allen & Heath consoles, managing up to 128 × 128 audio channels at 96khz. Compatibility with Deep Processing allows the use of acclaimed plugins and rackextrous effects of the DLive series, bringing on platform Quing a world tour. Intelligent assistants derived from the CQ series are not lacking, designed to speed up setups and reduce stress in preparation. The Gain Assistant quickly and accurately sets the optimal gain level for one or more channels, constantly monitoring the signal level during execution to avoid unwanted peaks. The assistant feedback, easy to use, detects and automatically removes the problematic frequencies with the use of up to 16 filters per output, guaranteeing a clear and unexpected mixing. To complete the equipment there is an automatic 32-channel mic mixer, completely integrated into the system and without additional latency, ideal for conferences, talk shows and television productions, eliminating the need for external DSP or additional plugins.
