The SM86 a condenser ice cream microphone, robust with cardioid polar characteristic and an extended response in the high frequency range. EIt was built to reproduce the main voice regularly and to withstand the harsh conditions of the tours. The SM86 condenser microphone has a studio sound, thanks to its extended frequency response - from 15hz to 18khz - and can withstand a high level of sound pressure (Max SPL: 147DB). The built-in three-point antishock support minimizes noise due to manipulation, while the anti filter-Two-layer pop reduces wind and breath noise.
