Air is the new condenser valve microphone designed and developed by Trevor Coley, founder of Sontronics, to take the best to take up the rumors. Thanks to soft sounds and the special ROLL-OFF (High frequency attenuation system patented by Sontronics), air offers professional results on any registration, including piano filming, acoustic guitar and cello, or dubbing and broadcasts. Contained inside a chrome grill, the large capsule (1.07 ") is able to capture the details and nuances of speech and sung male and female, while the 12AX7 / ecc83 valve of European origin, selected by hand, gives the sound a typical character of the classic valve microphones Vintage. The SPS power unit-2 has a selectable 75Hz filter, adjustable attenuator a -10DB and a light indicator for a visual feedback of the correct valve heating. In addition, to guarantee a pure and free interference sound, it was included in the SPS power stage-2, a filter typically used in medical equipment.
