The double bass of the NXTA Double Bass series, whose electronics based entirely on the Polar Pickup system, shares design, ergonomics and prostation of the eu and CR series counterbasses. Available in version 4 and 5 strings, these tools are produced in the Czech Republic.

Arch and pinched techniques have an unlimited expressive potential thanks to the Polar Pickup system. Thanks to the convenient switch you can select the traditional bow mode to have a percussive attack and a dynamic response, or the pizzicato mode for a round tone and with greater sustain.

NXTA Dual Mode Output

The new Dual Mode electronics brings greater versatility.

Active Mode: Using a charger connects your instrument to the socket for 60 seconds to load the performance circuit up to 16 hours. The tool can be connected to device with high or low impedance, without the need for box. Having no signal loss of the instrument frequency spectrum, the fundamental of each note remains clear and strong, even with extra long cables.

Passive Mode: NXTA tools can be played in Passive Mode "by connecting to a Direct Box or to an amplifier with high-impedance input. This mode provides the same performance as the original NXT.

Eco Friendly Operation: NXTA tools do not use battery, eliminating problems and battery costs and at the same time protecting the environment.

The NS Electric Strings strings and the traditional acoustic strings are perfect for all NS Design counterbasses.
