Polar 2 is a 2-channel USB audio interface designed by and for guitarists. It has 2 FET input channels for instruments, line and microphone, a headphone amplifier, Phantom + 48V power supply for condenser microphones, balanced outputs for professional monitoring, visual level meters and the exclusive switch 'Enhance of Blackstar. Activating the 'Enhance' switch is activated an exclusive electronics in the signal path that replicates the input stage of the guitar valve amplifiers. This circuit imitates the behavior and characteristics of the valve amplifiers, improving sound, feeling and response. When the Polar 'Enhance' function is activated, the innovative BlackStar input stage never suffers from digital clipping. No more messy recordings, no more hassle and no more confusion when it comes to setting the 'right' levels.
