APOGEE presents Symphony Desktop
| Symphony Desktop for Mac and Windows contains the legendary Symphony I / O MK II (rack) sound quality in an elegant and stimulating 10 × 14 audio interface that finds place on the desk and in the luggage by hand. With Symphony Desktop, musicians and manufacturers can record and mix with AD / da converters and the most respected microphone preamplifiers in the music industry. Combining superior performance with new features such as the emulation of microphone preamplifiers, the Symphony ECS Channel Strip plugin and very low latency recording with Apogee FX DSP / Native Plugins, Symphony Desktop amplifies the creativity in the studio or traveling and gives recordings the incredible quality of the legendary Apogee sound. Similarly to the Symphony I / O MKII, the Symphony Desktop A / D conversion stage has an ultra low distortion, high speed response to transients, fully differential analogical operational amplifiers (to maintain i Balanced circuits even inside the appliance) and a cutting-edge A / D converter with double sum that further improves performance. Create with the certainty that each nuance present at the analogue input will be faithfully reproduced in the digital domain. The Symphony Desktop D / A stage uses a brand new technology to provide "Symphony DAC" performance without compromise in a portable product, including a sturdy high-current output driver with ultra low distortion. Regardless of downstream connections, Symphony Desktop offers a wide and transparent window on the sound panorama of your mix. At the center of the input system there are microphone preamps, and those of Symphony Desktop offer up to 75dB of gain. The design of the preamps presents the exclusive Apogee architecture Advanced Stepped Gain which guarantees very low noises and distortions independently that the source is a pounding bass drum or a delicate fingerpicking on a guitar Acoustics. With variable impedance settings on both microphone and instrument inputs, Symphony Desktop optimizes the input stage to better adapt to your devices, guaranteeing clear deep bass and sharp. The ability to select the emulation of historical preamps adds character, attitude and grit to your recordings. Symphony Desktop has two very low impedance headphone outputs with independent signal routing, both equipped with DAC ESS double sum. The front panel output is perfectly for any headphone, while the one present in the rear panel is specifically designed for high efficiency headphones. |
