Allen & Heathpresents Zed 16FX

Allen & Heath added two new models to the multifunctional mixer line, live and recording, zed. The new Zed-16FX and ZED-18; Each offers 10 complete mono channels and respectively 3 and 4 double stereo channels, to fulfill the compact mixer market demand with a good number of channels.

Thus as the other models of the series, even the new ZEDs incorporate the USB connection, with two-track delivery and return, for payback, recording and effects directly from a computer. The 10 mono channels use the acclaimed Double Stadium Allen & Heath preamplifier, three-band MUSIQ, with semi-system metrametric medium, and 100mm faders. In a compact format installed with rack. The stereo inputs have two bands and inputs for an extra source, and 4 AUX mandates can be available accessible from both mono and stereo channels.

Zed-16FX also offers an effect processor with TAP time delay, 24-bit / 48khz conversion, and a set of 16 derivative effects directly from Allen & Heath Ilive systems.

Zed-18 and Zed-16FX are the perfect format for many applications. In a rack-mounted frame we have included 10 mono channels and kept all stereo (in Zed-18 7 stereo inputs including the USB) are available. The configuration of outputs and monitors the same as Zed 14 and 12FX which proved very useful and flexible both in live mixing and studio, and are designed and built to last years. The CakeWalks Sonar X1 software package supplied with ZED-18 and Zed-16FX, and allows the user different functionality, in live mixing, live recording, study recording or study mixing. The combination of Zed and Sonar allows you to record a stereo mix, or record individual tracks to make a track, or insert a plug effect in the mix-In Sonar.
