Boss presents the line of guitar amplifiers katana gen 3, the third generation of the best-selling katana amplifiers. Renewed with updated sounds and features, the seven Katana gen 3 models offer advanced performance to bring guitar ambitions to the next level. New Tube Logic improvements enrich the main platform with sound, sensitivity and even greater response, including an expressive character of the pushed amplifier that fans at the limit of break will adore. Even the Boss Tone Studio app has been updated, making the remote editing workflows of more intuitive amplifiers and effects than ever. Supported by the acclaimed architecture of the Boss Tube Logic amplifier and the AB class reactive power, the Katana series has become a standard for guitarists around the world since its introduction in 2016. Katana Gen 3 elevates training with even more range and versatility, providing a game experience that arrives where no other amplifier can. Katana Gen 3 presents improvements to the five character amplifier available in the previous Katana models, including the iconic Brown type high gain. The new Pushed character highlights internal dynamic improvements with the pleasant response gain to the touch of a clean combos of the harmonic saturation. All six characteristics of the amplifier include a selectable variation, which provides 12 distinctive tones to support each musical style. Some models also include an exclusive newly designed bloom circuit that reproduces the sensation and the amplifier response. The Katana GEN 3 amplifiers provide five categories of integrated effects with essential selections from the historic boss library. The booster, mod, fx, delay and reverb sections offer improved sound quality, practical parameter controls and three variations each for access to 15 unique effects. The updated BOSS TONE Studio software for MacOS and Windows allows users to customize integrated effects between 60 different types and modify in-depth options not available from the amplifier panel. When the optional double Bluetooth audio Audio adapter is installed, it is possible to stream audio from a mobile device and change sounds wirelessly using the BTS editor app for iOS and Android. Katana Gen 3 amplifiers offer ample audio connectivity options and powerful tools for modern artists. Tone setting memories allow users to store and recall complete configurations of amplifiers / effects, while the jacks on the rear panel support remote control with pedal switches and an expression pedal. All models except Katana-50 Jan 3 also support pedal controllers GA-FC and GA-FC EX for a complete stage control.
