This set excels at being clear and articulate without being brittle. The low end is there, but the lower mid frequencies are king of this pair, providing the right balance of attack and authority to sit in the mix just right. They have a modern no pole piece look, and increased output. Hand made in Santa Barbara, CA, the Pro Active PJ pickups use ceramic magnets, and come with 3-conductor lead wire.
